Mica Help Center LIVE!

The Mica Help Center is now live at help.mica.co as well as via the '?' icon which has been added to Mica's top menu bar. Here you will find articles on all aspects of using Mica — from the very basics, to less used features, to best practices and more. We will also be posting all release note, in addition to the usual email.

New articles will be added regularly, and if there's something you'd like covered please get in touch.

Automatic Shipping Adjustments When Editing Playweeks

A new Adjust Shippings toggle is now available when editing playweeks — on the Booking Details page, in Bulk Replace mode, and in Bulk Adjust mode. When enabled (default), Mica automatically updates DCP delivery dates and KDM validity periods to match the new booking duration, so you no longer need to manage shippings manually after changing playweeks.

When the toggle is disabled, only playweeks are changed — existing shippings and KDM orders remain untouched.

Shipping Date and Time Details

The shipping off-canvas panel and Shipping Details page now display KDM start/end dates with times (e.g. 02/02/2026 00:01 — 16/02/2026 23:59) and DCP delivery dates. This makes it easier to verify that KDM validity windows and material deliveries align with your booking periods.

Vendor Booking Reference

A new Vendor Booking Reference field appears on the shipping off-canvas panel and Shipping Details page. This field is populated automatically from DCHub when a vendor sets their booking reference, giving you visibility into the vendor's internal tracking without leaving Mica.

Export Improvements

The Holdover page now use the same export system as Sales > Plans. Instead of separate PDF, CSV, and XLS options, a single Export button opens a field chooser where you can select exactly which columns to include. The export also supports contact fields (Booker, Buyer) and external IDs (Rentrak, MB, Atom, Exhibitor ID).

Invoice Zip Control per Payer

A new toggle on the Edit Payer modal controls whether invoices are zipped when more than four are sent at once. When disabled, invoices are attached individually and batched into groups of up to 10 per email, each clearly numbered (e.g. "Invoices 1–10 of 23"). This is particularly useful for payers whose email addresses feed into accounting systems that cannot process zip files.

VAT Number Removed from Exhibitor

The VAT number field has been removed from the Exhibitor record. Since exhibitors are high-level brand entities that may contain multiple billing entities, VAT numbers now reside exclusively on the Payer, where they belong.

Deep Linking

Mica now remembers the page you were trying to reach when your session expires. After logging back in, you're redirected to the original URL instead of the dashboard. This means shared links to specific bookings, invoices, or other pages work as expected even when you need to re-authenticate.

Cinedi Import Improvements

The text-file import format is now more prominently displayed to encourage its use over merged XML files. Error messages have also been improved: unknown title codes now show "Title reference unknown" instead of the generic "No references found", and unknown screen codes include the venue name and location in the error message for easier troubleshooting.

Bug Fixes

  • Release creation: Changing the production during the Add Release wizard no longer causes the version to be assigned to the previously selected production.
  • Payer creation: Resolved an issue where the Add Payer modal became unresponsive after clicking Save.
  • Invoice sending: Fixed a problem that caused some invoices to remain unsent when using bulk email.
  • Additional fixes for currency symbol display, shipping field population, report date validation, and general UI polish.
